MADISON (WKOW) -- Gov. Scott Walker is planning a new location for signing the state's budget.
The chief executive officer at Green Bay's Badger Sheet Metal Works where Walker originally planned to sign the budget on Sunday spent three months behind bars for six felony counts of income tax evasion in the 1990s. Walker spokesman Cullen Werwie says the governor had no knowledge of Gregory DeCaster's past legal troubles.
The 57-year-old DeCaster told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel paper that a former bookkeeper was to blame for the tax problems, but he had to do time because his name was on the tax returns.
