Rusk County (WQOW) - An area man is arrested for attempted murder after a weekend shooting.
Rusk County officials say William Rebak fired several gunshots Saturday evening at his rural Weyerhauser home. It started when a former friend showed up to retrieve some belongings at the end of Rebak's driveway. A sheriff's deputy was on hand to make sure there were no problems, when Rebak allegedly came out of his house and fired four to six shots from a nine millimeter handgun.
No one was hit, and it's unclear whether Rebak was firing at them. The deputy ordered him to drop the gun, and Rebak was arrested for attempted homicide and endangering safety.
