WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- With a political deadlock on the issue of whether to raise the nation's debt ceiling, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson says he's sympathetic to voters' frustrations.
"I don't disagree with the American public or voters in Wisconsin that they think Washington is a mess. It is. It's horribly broken. It's totally dysfunctional," said Johnson on Friday.
He said Congress needs to set hard spending caps and federal agencies need to find ways to operate within their means.
