Small plane makes emergency landing near Stevens Point
STOCKTON (WKOW) -- A student pilot and his instructor suffer minor injuries after their plane made an emergency landing.
Pilot Bret Taplin says he and instructor John Thompson took off from Stevens Point Airport Thursday morning. The experimental plane started to vibrate and a propeller fell off. Thompson took over the plane and landed it in a potato field east of Stockton.
First responders treated Taplin and Thompson at the scene. Both are expected to be OK.
