Parents in Wisconsin pay some of the highest amounts in the nation for child care services, according to a National Association of Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies study.
The study found the average annual cost of child care for a four-year-old in Wisconsin in 2010 was $9,050, which is more than 11-percent of the yearly income for a median, two-parent Wisconsin family.
The average annual cost for infant care was even higher at about $10,500.
