MADISON (WKOW) -- A new center in Madison will help people as they search for jobs.

Two adjoining "Work-Smart" centers opened Monday on S. Park Street. Both locations will provide members of the community with access to computers and staff who can assist in creating resumes and cover letters. The centers are located within the Urban League of Greater Madison at2222. S. Park St., and within Madison College-South at 2238 S. Park St.

The centers will be open to the public seven days a week.

Mayor Paul Soglin said, "If we are going to really be inclusive in regards to everyone participating in a healthy economy, we need to make sure that the opportunity for job development, for career development, is made available to all people in the community."

The two centers join 14 other "Work-Smart" centers already in operation in South Central Wisconsin.
