Flu Report: Importance of vaccines

MADISON (WKOW) -- Believe it or not, it's already flu season.  Health experts say the best way to protect yourself against the flu is to get a flu vaccine.

Flu shots are recommended for everyone age six months and older.  You should also get a shot each year.

The vaccine for the H1N1 flu is included in this year's flu vaccine.

Julie Hitt with Home Health United joined 27 News at 5 on Tuesday with more information about what you can do to protect yourself.
