MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Senior Patrick Ruhland put a header into the net off a corner kick by Aaron Fargo to lead Mt. Horeb to its first-ever state title, beating Catholic Memorial 1-0 in the Div. 2 boys soccer state championship on Saturday at Uihlein Soccer Park.
The Vikings were able to avenge last year's loss to Catholic Memorial in the state semi-finals, thanks to solid defense throughout Saturday's championship match.
