MADISON (WKOW) -- Friday night level three of the Wisconsin high school football playoffs kicks off around the state. Many of the games will also be played on Saturday including the big rivalry between Waunakee and DeForest.
The last time these two bucked heads, the Warriors scored the winning touchdown with just 1:22 remaining, getting past the Norskies for the 16th-straight time in the regular season.
But DeForest gets another shot at their rival in a postseason matchup. The last time DeForest defeated Waunakee was in the playoffs four years ago. And there's nothing the Norskies want more than to end the season of the two-time defending state champions.
