Retail sales increase from Sept. to Oct.

WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Fears about the economy haven't kept Americans from shopping.

The Commerce Department says retail sales increased by a half-percent last month compared to September.

More people spent their dollars on electronics and appliances. Auto sales also went up
