(WKOW) -- The Wisconsin womens basketball team dropped its second game of the season, this one to in-state Marquette 54-52. The Badgers were up by three with two-and-a-half minutes to play, but in the three following possessions Wisconsin missed two shots and turned the ball over for the 19th time of the game. Marquette's Sarina Simmons led all scorers with 23 points, including free throws down the stretch that made it a two-possession game. The Badgers are back in actions Friday at the Kohl Center where they host Washington State.
