JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Recall efforts across the state aren't just targeting Governor Scott Walker, but also Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.
Kleefisch says the Walker administration's original jobs agenda still holds true, and she believes both she and Walker won't be distracted by recall efforts.
"There are a lot of people that would like for us to be emotional and distracted right now but we're not going to be," says Kleefisch.
In Janesville, students at UW-Rock County, students are rallying to collect signatures to recall both Walker and Kleefisch.
Sam Liebert, chair of the school's College Democrats group, and a Janesville city council member thinks the Walker administration hasn't done enough, which is why he's working on the recall. So far, they've seen a huge response from students.
"I think it's a good sign if we run in to people who have said 'oh I've already signed the petition' and it hasn't even been 48 hours yet," says Liebert.
Kleefisch says she and the governor are going to stay focused on creating jobs despite the recalls.
