WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and SportsGAB estimates $650,000 cost for recalls

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Government Accountability Board estimates it will need at least $650,000 in additional funding next year to handle recall petitions.

The GAB says the money would be used to rent office space and hire 50 temporary employees to review recall petitions.

The GAB estimate doesn't include recall costs for local officials.
