MADISON (WKOW) -- One guy you probably didn't notice in Saturday's game was senior walk-on defensive end Greg Russo.
He didn't make any big plays; in fact, he was only in the game for the final one minute and four seconds. But it was a dream come true for the 25-year-old Iraq war veteran from Lake Mills.
Russo spent the entire season on the Badgers' scout team, but on Penn State's final drive, his magic moment came as he stepped onto the field for the last couple of plays.
Russ says that's one minute he'll remember forever.
"Standing in the middle of the field and looking around and seeing the fans there and knowing that I was a part of something that big and a part of being the Leaders Division champs... It was just a totally different feeling and I was on a completely different field in a completely different place," said Russo.
"Literally, it transported me somewhere else. That image will never go away. I think I asked somebody to head butt me before I went out there just so that I could remember that I was still on Earth, you know?"
