WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and SportsWest Bend man arrested for defacing recall petition

WEST BEND (WKOW)-- There is yet another case of a recall petition that has been damaged.

A West Bend man was arrested and accused of defacing a petition against Governor Scott Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.

Police say the 30-year-old man stood in line outside a teacher's house as people were signing. When he was given the clipboard, he scribbled out some of the names.

Officers used a license plate number to track him down. He is being held in Washington County Jail.
