Democrats say Walker recall effort will end without more money

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Democratic Party of Wisconsin says the recall of Governor Scott Walker won't happen, unless they can raise $150,000 by December 16.

DPW Chairman Mike Tate wrote the statement that went up on the party's web site Wednesday morning.

Tate says that the money is needed to keep the 42 recall offices across the state open and to keep paying the 100 staffers who work at them.

The release includes an appeal to Democrats to make a donation of $15.
