SAN FRANCISCO (WKOW) -- San Francisco will become the first city in the nation to pay minimum wage workers more than 10 dollars an hour.
Starting January 1st, the city's lowest paid workers will earn $10.24 an hour.
That's more than two-dollars more than California's minimum wage and nearly three-dollars more than the wage set by the federal government.
