MADISON (WKOW) -- A state senator who is facing recall says he has raised $37,000 since July.
Sen. Van Wanggaard (R-Racine) filed campaign finance reports with state election officials. The reports show he raised $37,121 and spent $10,405 from July 1 through December 11.
Wanggaard is one of four Republican senators who face a possible recall next year. The potential recall stems from Republican Gov. Scott Walker's decision to strip collective bargaining rights from public workers.
