GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- Friday is the last day to buy Packers stock and guarantee delivery by Christmas.
But you can still order shares up to February 29. The Packers haven't released any sales figures since last week. That's when it said 185,000 of the 250,000 available shares had been snapped up within the first two days of availability.
The shares cost $250 each, plus a $25 handling fee. You can buy them online at the Packers website.
The shares pay no dividends and have virtually no re-sale value. But they do come with a certificate declaring holders a team owner and conferring the right to attend the annual stockholder meeting.
The stock sale will help fund the $143 million renovation of Lambeau Field.
