MADISON (WKOW) -- Volunteers are calling Saturday "Total Recall" As they work to collect signatures to recall Governor Scott Walker.
United Wisconsin says they've got 100 signing stations set up throughout the state Saturday, to make it easy for people to sign petitions.
They say they've collected more than 507,000 signatures so far.
They have to collect at least 540,000 valid signatures to trigger a recall election.
Opponents of Governor Scott Walker say they hope to have thousands more than that.
"We want to just keep on going until we hit a million signatures or at least 750,000. We want to send a really loud and clear message," said Heather DuBois Bourenane, Sun Prairie Recall Committee.
Organizers of the Sun Prairie Recall effort say they've seen a consistent number of signatures but may start going door-to-door in the future.
On top of signatures, they collected food and toy donations for those in need.
