State Building Commission approves projects

MADISON (WKOW) -- The state Building Commission approved several projects on Wednesday.

They include:

Replacement of state emergency generators and emergency transmission equipment;
Renovation of Dairy Science Facilities at UW-Madison;
Replacement of scoreboards at athletic facilities at UW-LaCrosse;
Restoration of legislative hearing rooms at State Capitol;
Approval of authority to design and construct new pump stations at the North and South Shore at Devil's Lake State Park.

"The projects approved today represent important investments in our state," Governor Walker said Wednesday. "I am pleased that the Building Commission was able come together to work in a bipartisan fashion."
