ATLANTA, Ga. (WKOW) -- Former Green Bay Packers player Dorsey Levens, along with three other former NFL players, is suing the NFL for brain injuries.
The players say their injuries have left them struggling with medical problems years after their playing days ended.
Levens, Jamal Lewis, Fulton Kuykendall and Ryan Stewart filed the federal lawsuit this week in U.S. District Court in Atlanta.
They are arguing that the NFL hid the potential harm concussions pose to their players up until 2010 even though they knew about the dangerous health effects much earlier.
