Pulaski H.S. band to play at Rose Bowl game, parade
PULASKI (WKOW) -- 200 students from Pulaski High School are headed to Pasadena.
They'll perform in the 2012 Rose Parade and the Red Raiders will also perform five songs at halftime of the Rose Bowl game.
The kids from Pulaski, near Green Bay, were chosen to represent the entire Midwest.
"The word 'honor' comes to mind. It's something that's very special. I think these kids will appreciate it even more as years progress and they're able to look back at it," said band director Tom Busch.
The students raised nearly $140,000 to pay for airfare and other expenses.
