SAGEVILLE, Iowa (WKOW) -- Police have made an arrest in relation to the car crash that left a Wisconsin resident dead.
Earl Hiland III, 41, was arrested Wednesday and is believed to have been driving the pick up truck that fled the scene, according to the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office.
Hiland is being held on a $11,000 bond and has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatality accident, failure to provide information and aid, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving while license denied.
According to investigators, Hiland's pickup crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 52, hitting an oncoming car.
The driver, Casey Craugh, 28, of Hazel Green, Wis. died at the scene.
