MADISON (WKOW) -- It's the granddaddy of them all, the 98th annual Rose Bowl. It's a second chance for both the Badgers and their opponents, the Oregon Ducks, to take home a win. Fans here in Madison, hoping it's a Wisconsin win.
Area businesses are on high alert, because if the Badgers win, they're ready to take action. At Insignia, a sports apparel shop on State Street, employees are waiting to find out if they'll get some special merchandise. In the event of a Badger win, they'll be selling new Rose Bowl champions shirts.
They can't share what the shirts will look like yet, because they haven't even been made.
It's all a waiting game for them: waiting for the outcome of the game and waiting for the shirts to come in from their Minnesota printing company.
"They'll be driving them down at midnight and we'll have them definitely tomorrow when we open if we win," says Bryant Ray, Insignia employee.
Ray says even though it's the second straight year the Badgers have invaded to Pasadena, the store has been pretty busy in the weeks leading up to the game.
