Recall: LED flashlight sets

Posted:

WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Target has recalled about 55,000 LED flashlight sets over fire and burn hazards.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall involves 6-piece LED flashlight sets that were sold exclusively at Target stores from October 2010 through December 2011.

Safety officials say when the flashlights are turned on, they can heat up, smoke or melt, increasing a user's risk of getting burned.

Target has received reports of four incidents with flashlights, including two minor bur injuries to consumer's hands.

If you have one of the recalled flashlight sets, stop using them and return them to any Target store for a full refund.
