MADISON (WKOW) -- We've got you covered on a nationwide recall, that could effect many of us here locally.
Novartis officials say, they are recalling bottles of Excedrin, NoDoz, Bufferin, and Gas-X. They say, some of the bottles might have pills from other medicines in them. Recently, production was suspended at the Nebraska plant due to some maintenance issues.
This recall affects Excedrin and caffeine caplets No-Doz that expire on December 20, 2014 or earlier. Also, some packages of Bufferin and Gas-X that expire December 20, 2013 or earlier.
Novartis says, the recall is being done with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. If you can questions, you can call the company at 1-888-477-2403.
