MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Democratic U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin opens her Senate campaign headquarters Monday with an endorsement from U.S. Senator Herb Kohl.

Baldwin will open her state headquarters in downtown Milwaukee with Kohl's endorsement at 6 p.m. Monday.

Kohl says Baldwin has served in Congress with conviction, compassion and common sense.

Kohl's senate seat has been in Democratic hands since 1957.
