Madison police investigate theft at Walgreens

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying suspects in a retail theft.

Officials say on Friday, January 7 at 5:30 p.m., two suspects entered Walgreens on Verona Road.

The female suspect went behind the electronics counter and grabbed a Blue Ray player. The male suspect stood by and watched.

The suspects left the store without paying for the Blue Ray player.

Police describe one suspect as a white female, 5'4", 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing jeans and a black jacket.

The other suspect is described as a black male, 5'10", 210 pounds, and was seen wearing all black clothing.
