MONONA (WKOW) -- Monona police are looking for a man they say was involved in a stabbing early Friday morning.

Authorities say they were called to the 200 block of Valorie Lane in Monona just before 2:40 a.m. Friday.

Officials say the suspect, 19-year-old Michael Lampman, and a woman were involved in a verbal argument. When another man tried to intervene, he and the suspect started fighting. As the other man tried to remove himself from the argument, Lampman stabbed him.

The victim was taken to a local hospital.

Lampman left the area before police arrived and has not been found. His last address is listed on the 200 block of Coach House Drive in Madison. Officials describe Lampman as a white male, 5'10", 175 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information on this incident or Lampman's whereabouts is asked to call the Monona Police Department at 608-222-0463.
