MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are looking for a suspect after a woman was robbed.

A 36-year-old Madison woman told police she was walking in the 10 block of South Livingston Street Wednesday morning when a man got out of a car. Police say the man approached the woman and grabbed her purse and drove away.

Police describe the suspect as a male, black 30-40 years old, possibly wearing a skull cap and dark jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
