GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The funeral was held Friday for the son of Green Bay Packers' coach Joe Philbin.
21-year old Michael Philbin drowned in the Fox River in Oshkosh last weekend.
His body was recovered on Monday.
Many of the Packers' players and coaches attended the funeral after practice; the end of a long, emotional week.
Tight end Jermichael Finley says, "I think it brought the team closer and made everyone realize one week you're here, the next it's your funeral. It's a crazy life we live."
Wide receiver Jordy Nelson was also there. "You realize we're a family here. There's more to this than just a game. We care for each other; we love each other. So we're going to go and pay our respects and just be there for the Philbin family."
Joe Philbin is the Packers' offensive coordinator and is away from the team indefinitely.
