MADISON (WKOW) -- Tuesday is the deadline for recall organizers to turn in their petitions.
Recall organizers had until Saturday to collect more than 540,000 signatures to recall Governor Scott Walker. They say they've gathered far more signatures than needed to force the election against Walker.
Supporters of the recall effort still have not announce which Democrat will run against Walker if enough signatures were collected to force a recall election.
Democrats and union leaders insist they're not yet concerned about not having someone running against Walker. They say they've been happy to force him to defend his record rather than run against an announced Democratic candidate.
Meanwhile, Walker has crisscrossed the country raising millions of campaign dollars. He has also aired television ads defending his agenda.
