WASHINGTON (WKOW) – President Barack Obama's campaign is buying ad time in six different states, including Wisconsin.
A campaign official says the Obama campaign also bought ad time in Michigan, Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Iowa, and on national cable television.
Obama's campaign hasn't started airing television advertisements, but the move to buy ad time shows the president is taking one step closer to rebutting Republican presidential front-runner Mitt Romney and other GOP opponents.
On Tuesday, Obama will deliver his State of the Union address and then travel to five states to discuss his policies.
