MADISON (WKOW) - A robbery was reported Saturday at 9:30 PM on 2909 East Washington Avenue in the Walgreens parking lot.
The victim parked her car near the front door of Walgreens. Upon exiting the car, the suspect grabbed her purse and pushed her. The suspect, a 51-year-old from De Forest, chased the suspect and yelled for help.
Another man in the area chased after the suspect, but the suspect got away.
Police are looking for a 25 to 30 year-old black male. The suspect was wearing a khaki Carhart type jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.
The purse containing money and other personal items was taken. There were no injuries to the victim.
