MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are looking for a suspect after a woman was mugged.
Police say a 30-year-old Madison woman reported being mugged in the PDQ parking lot on West Broadway sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday night.
The woman told police a man grabbed her as she walked to her car. The man punched the woman in the head several times and stole her money.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of bumps and bruises.
Police describe the suspect as black, 35-40 years-old, 5'8" - 5'10", 150 - 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray nylon jacket over a hooded sweatshirt.
