WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and SportsTea Party groups say thousands to check recall signatures

MADISON (WKOW) -- State Tea Party groups say they have thousands of volunteers ready to check signatures to recall Gov. Scott Walker and other Republican leaders.

About 11,000 people pledged online to look for fraudulent signatures through an online system.

Groups like, We the People of the Republic and The Wisconsin Grandsons of Liberty, are working with a Texas-based group to create the database program. It will allow volunteers to check signatures from home.

Volunteers will look for duplicate names and incorrect addresses.
