MADISON (WKOW) – A 20-year-old UW-Madison student told Madison police he was knocked down and robbed on N. Broom Street, just south of State Street, on Sunday morning.
The victim says at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, he was blindsided by a blow to the head, which knocked him down. While on his stomach, he says a robber held him down while a second robber took money from his pocket. The victim saw the men run north on Broom Street.
The victim went to a medical clinic on Tuesday, where he learned he suffered several facial fractures during the attack.
