MADISON (WKOW) – A 14-year-old contacted Madison police over concerns about a suspicious driver on Madison's north side.
The teen says on Saturday, he was walking on Monterey Drive/Trailsway when a man drove slowly past him and waved. The young man thought the stranger was trying to get him to come over to the car.
On Tuesday, police say the teen saw the driver again, driving slowly and looking at him. That's when the teen went into a nearby apartment. When he came out 10 minutes later, the man was still sitting in his car smoking a cigarette.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old with a heavy build and hair worn in dreadlocks. He was seen driving a green 4-door car with a tap stripe.
