Madison police search for identity theft suspect

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying an identity theft suspect.

Officials say on Tuesday, January 10, the victim was notified that his credit cards had been used at several locations around Madison. Several thousand dollars worth of merchandise had been illegally charged.

The victim used his credit card on Monday, January 9 and believes he had lost his wallet that same day.

The suspect is described as a black female, hair pulled back with brown highlights, 5'9", 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing brown coat and white shirt.
