DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- A Madison man has been arrested for his fourth drunk driving offense.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was notified of a possible impaired driver traveling on Highway 12 in the Town of Springfield around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Officials say the deputy stopped 28-year-old Aaron Fischer. The deputy administered field sobriety tests. Fischer was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody.
Wisconsin Department of Transportation records showed that Fischer had three prior OMVWI convictions.
Fischer was booked into the Dane County Jail for a 4th offense OMVWI, which is a felony. He was also cited for operating after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device.
