WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and SportsApp makes learning about product recalls easier

WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has an app to tell you about product recalls.

You can enter the names of products and the app will inform you if the product has been recalled for safety reasons.

You can see photos of the item and find out what you can do with any recalled items in your home.

The app also lets you know about recalls issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the FDA and Agriculture Department. Click here to install the app.
