MILWAUKEE (WKOW)--If you watched the Super Bowl Sunday, you may have noticed a Milwaukee doctor announce he is running for governor.
Doctor Hari Trivedi says he is running as an independent.
He's a physician at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Trivedi says he wants to bring people back together and put them to work.
He says party affiliation should not drive decisions at the polls.
"I think there is a need for Wisconsinites to think outside the box. I think people should look at the candidate, look at the ideas and vote accordingly."
If the name sounds familiar, Trivedi briefly campaigned as a write-in candidate for governor in 2010.
