MADISON (WKOW) -- As 27 News reported last week, a decision on whether or not the WIAA basketball tournaments stay in Madison or move to Green Bay next year may not be decided until after next month's tournaments.
But this much is certain, the Badgers certainly see the benefits of keeping it in Madison.
The state tournaments generally feature the best players in the state, some of them are considering which college to attend and playing on the same court as the Badgers can be a strong recruiting tool for Wisconsin.
Badgers head basketball coach Bo Ryan was asked if he wants to see the state tournaments stay in the Capitol City. Click the video link to see Ryan's response.
