MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man was arrested for breaking into a downtown Madison salon and spa over the weekend.
Madison police say the owner of Alan Koa Salon and Spa called authorities around 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning after finding that her business had been burglarized overnight.
The owner estimates the intruder caused an estimated $2,000 dollars in damage by rummaging through the business, opening up products, spilling them on the floor, and creating a general mess of things.
During their investigation, Madison police found the suspect's wallet and his debit card.
The salon had surveillance video of the crime and eventually made contact with 27-year-old David Odden.
Odden admitted to being out that night, but couldn't remember exactly what he did because had been drinking.
Madison police arrested Odden for burglary and criminal damage to property.
