GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- State school officials are investigating irregularities in standardized testing at a Green Bay elementary school.

The Green Bay Area Public School District found a principal at the unidentified school allowed teachers to preview test items.  Some questions from the math portion of the actual test were given to students in grades three, four and five.

WLUK-TV in Green Bay reports the test involved was the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examination.  It's given to public school students in grades three through eight and grade 10.

The district says it has taken disciplinary action and developed training to help employees understand what is not allowed. The district says it is fully cooperating with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
