MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man organizes a fundraiser to honor his wife and help other lung cancer patients.
Trent Gerber is putting together the first ever Free to Breathe Yogathon in Madison. His wife Susan is a lung cancer survivor.
Money raised at the event will benefit the National Lung Cancer Partnership. The Yogathon is February 25 at the First Unitarian Meeting House Atrium at 9:00 a.m.
Gerber says, "Free to Breathe is about stretching your limits to create change in the lives of those impacted by lung cancer. I encourage everyone in Madison to join this movement that will help bring the attention and funding to lung cancer that it desperately needs."
Trent and Susan talked about the event on Wake Up Wisconsin Wednesday morning.
