MADISON (WKOW) -- Gov. Scott Walker wants two more weeks to review signatures on recall petitions.
A Dane County judge will consider the request on Friday. Walker says he doesn't have enough time to go over the estimated 1 million signatures turned in last month.
A judge had already granted Walker 30 days to review the petitions. If a judge approves two more weeks, Walker's deadline for filing challenges would be extended from February 27 to March 12.
The Government Accountability Board has until March 19 to verify the signatures.
