MADISON (WKOW) -- Next week, students become the teachers when it comes to health. Several University of Wisconsin students and members of HOSA will help put together the Global Health Week here in Madison.
It's an all out effort to get the college and the community to come together and get healthy. February 20-26, you can join the students in different activities to raise awareness of health issues and help get on the right track.
The list of planned events are as follows:
Monday: Global Health Institute presentation, Dietetics and Nutrition Club presentation
Tuesday: Self-defense workshop
Wednesday: Powerflow Fitness class, Sleep and Meditation presentation
Thursday: Acupuncture presentation
Friday: Health by Motorbike (project in Kenya) presentation
Saturday: 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament to raise money for Charity Water
