WASHINGTON (WKOW)--Scientists have found unacceptably high levels of arsenic in some foods that contain organic brown rice syrup.
Those foods include some organic cereal bars, energy bars and toddler formulas.
Researchers at Dartmouth University say the rice tends to concentrate arsenic from the soil.
Arsenic can increase a person's risk of cancer.
The two tested formulas with the highest levels of arsenic were "Baby's Only Organic Dairy Toddler Formula" and "Soy Toddler Formula" made by Nature's One.
